❤❤❤ LOVE ❤❤❤
With Valentines day just around the corner, I thought this blog would be appropriate. Love, there are all different types of it that you come across in a lifetime. You have your childhood crushes that you swear you love. You find out it's just infatuation. Then comes the real stuff. First loves, let me get into this for a moment, for some people their first love is one that lasts forever. But for most that isn't the case. It's the first time you experience so many things, the feeling of love, the newness of it all, the butterflies, and ultimately the feeling of heartbreak. That first heartbreak is terrible. It feels like the end of the world, like your heart got ripped into a million pieces and nothing is going to be okay again. But it will be. After some tears shed, some phone calls to your bestfriend, and of course chocolate things start to feel okay. You start to move on, but you don't forget. You won't forget what your first love taught you. You'll remember that time in your life, the feelings you felt good and bad. It teaches you what you want and don't want the next time around. You're a different person after your first love, you are more cautious usually. You learn what you deserve. If they treated you terribly after awhile, you learn you don't deserve that, no one does ever. If your relationship was fine but there was something missing, you learn what you should feel like with love. Sometimes they just don't work out and that's okay. It's all a learning experience and that's the beauty of it.
One day you will find your real love, if you are lucky it's your first. But for most like I said it's trial and error. When you find that love that you feel is going to last forever, you just know . It's like a giant punch in the gut. Like " hey that's your person". You click instantly. At least that was the case for me and my experience. Every persons experience with it is different. I can tell you this though, it is not like the movies. Love portrayed in a movie is nothing like reality. Don't expect your partner to be waiting there with flowers all the time or saying these heart melting lines. The one thing it is like, it's falling in love with your bestfriend. And that? It's priceless.
It's what makes all the craziness of your real love worth it. It's knowing that they'll always be there for you in good times and bad. Being your biggest supporter in what you do. You will argue, I'm telling you that now. Especially when you end up moving in together. You're in a different environment, learning each others mannerisms, and the quirky things you never knew about. Some you'll love and others will drive you bonkers. Going through all of it is worth it in the end though. You have to learn to laugh through some of the stupid things that irk you. It's just not worth the fight. I've always heard the term "Pick your battles" and coming from someone that's gone through this that saying is so true. Through all the bad times you'll push through and come out stronger in the end. Because of the love you have for them, you will look past all the flaws and you'll accept them just as they are. They will do the same for you. It's the greatest feeling knowing that they'll be the one that's going to be with you at 80, in a rocking chair right beside you. It's the feeling of forever and knowing that's true, always. Love it is messy but it's so strong. There is nothing like a real love. It's for a lifetime. Don't waste it. Now, somewhere out there is your real love and it may take time and trial and error. But when you find it, treasure it, the moments, the feelings, everything. Don't have doubt, you will find it. Believe in that.
I hope you enjoyed reading this, it's all over the place. It was a difficult one to right, trying to find the right words to explain it. I hope you have a Happy Valentines day and end up finding that true love somewhere down the line ❤

Beautiful Mess
Beautiful Mess
Yeah, that about sums most of us up doesn't it? Life can get so hectic from time to time you don't know which way to go. It may not feel like it, but you keep handling all the day to day things beautifully, no matter the mess life brings . Yes it may be hard but it all ends up working out in the end one way or another. You'll see, You just have to keep working and walking forward no matter the obstacles you encounter. You've all heard the saying
" Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain" .
This couldn't be more truthful. If you're always waiting for your obstacles or bad times to go away you'll be waiting forever. Embrace it all, learn to dance through the bad times. Take something away from that, it can be a learning experience. Learning what to do or what not to do next time things get tough.
Now you could be a college student juggling school and work just to make ends meet and to further your education for a dream job you want. You could be just out of high school on the top of the world, having everything planned out and looking forward to your future and if that's the case that's great! Embrace the journey you're about to take. It may be overwhelming, but take it one day at a time. It'll be okay. You could be a single parent working 3 jobs to keep food on the table and to take care of your family to make sure they have a good life. Maybe you are somewhere in your 20's or even 30's not sure what the next move is, no job or a dead end job, just completely lost. That's okay too. No one tells you that though, no one tells you that if you are lost or overworked that it's okay, it will be okay. No matter where you are in life, just know that what you are doing matters. Even if it feels like you aren't doing anything. The way you are shaping your life does matter. For yourself and for others involved in your life.
So if you aren't doing anything at the moment take this time to learn something new, a language, read a difficult book to broaden your thinking, volunteer somewhere, but do something. Try to make a difference you may find a new passion somewhere you never thought of before. If you are a college student juggling school and work and just feel exhausted, reward yourself for the amazing effort it takes to do that. It could be anything from a doughnut, new nail polish or a 20 minute nap lets be honest. You are tired and overwhelmed. Take a nap, let your mind rest and start refreshed! Now to the single parents out there juggling jobs and a family. I have so much respect for you. You are trying to provide for your family. You need to take some time out of your day or week and do something for yourself, a walk, a bath, or a nap as well. Anything because you deserve a break. You need to refresh your mind as well because if your mind isn't working it's going to be twice as difficult. The moral to this blog today is, though life brings a lot of messes it is how you handle it. Do you just sit there and sulk? Or do fight back and work your ass off to achieve what you want? The choice, is ultimately yours. Do what you will with this information. But I hope you choose to fight back because your journey is going to be a bumpy ride but so worth it in the end.
I hope you all enjoyed the blog post today. It may be a little all over the place but hey, that's life isn't it?
Dance through your storms,

PCOS: 1 in 10 women
PCOS
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome it affects every one in ten women. It occurs with a hormone level imbalance and it causes cysts in the ovaries. There is no cure for PCOS. From the outside you would never know if a woman had PCOS, if you didn't know the visible symptoms. In this blog today I'm going to go into some of the general symptoms with PCOS. I know the toll it can take on a person because I'm living with it now. If not managed it can be a million times worse. Even when managed it isn't easy.
I want to talk about the general symptoms and the steps you can take to try and help with them. The opinions I have on this is just from my own experience and the stories I've heard from other women. First of the symptoms I want to talk about are the general ones. Fatigue, Rage, Mood Swings, Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, Craving Sugar, Low Sex Drive. These are just some of the symptoms. Now from my personal experience, I can say that I have had the anxiety and depression symptoms. I continue to struggle with my anxiety. I have gotten my depression under control for a few years now. I don't think any of these you could choose that are worse than the other because in reality they are all terrible in their own way.
The fatigue is was gets me most the time as well as my anxiety. Being tired all the time no matter how much or how little sleep you get is well.. exhausting. You try and get enough sleep and I add a little bit of coffee in the morning to the few hours of sleep I get, just to keep myself moving. A few things you can do in the morning to try and get your fatigue is a little workout, it gives you energy. Whether it be yoga for a half hour or a short run/walk. Just something to get your blood flowing. Keep yourself hydrated with water most the day. I drink coffee in the morning, then water the rest of the day. Something to get your anxiety and depression under control I have found is relaxation. Sounds easy enough right? WRONG.
Trying to really relax when you have anxiety and depression is difficult. Your mind never shuts off. My solution to this even if it's for ten or fifteen minutes is take a nice hot bath and put some of your favorite music on and just soak. If that's no your cup of tea, try reading or writing, going for a walk. Treat yourself to some activity big or small you'd enjoy and your mind can relax for a short time. It does help, give you like a restart button almost. If that makes any sense. These solutions also can go for mood swings, and rage just get yourself to relax somehow and bring yourself back to a calm state. The craving sugar symptom I haven't really dealt with too often. When I have dealt with it my one solution is drink water, or eat fruit. You can indulge in sugar every now again just not too much. Eating well is a big part of PCOS and getting it under control. Low Sex Drive, that's a tough one to solve. All I'm going to say on this one is I hope you have a very understanding partner as I do with all the symptoms including this one. I can't give to much advice on this one other than talk to your partner about it, in depth if need be. Tell them what you want or need. Just give direction to them. If that doesn't work. Do some research on it, online or talk to your doctor.
These general symptoms take a huge toll on the body internally. Just try and relax, talk to someone, your doctor or partner or anyone you are close too. It does help to talk. Even when it feels like you aren't making much sense. If there are women reading this and are going through the same thing, I hope it helped knowing someone else is going through it too. If you are a woman reading this and had no idea about PCOS or what it was, I hoped this helped you understand a little bit about it. If you are a man and are reading this then I hope this helps you understand what some of us women have to go through. Be patient and understanding with us, PCOS or not. I sure hope this helped somebody.
Thank you for reading this blog, more to come on PCOS. Any questions on comments just leave them below and I'll do my best to answer. Have a great day!

a woman with a normal yet crazy life. Here's the story..
Hey Everyone,
Not sure who all will be reading these blog posts I'm going to start posting but if you are reading them and like them please comment on them and let me know! So for my first blog post it may be a little boring, I'm going to tell you a little bit about me and what I'll be writing about. So to get started I should probably tell you my name, it's Danielle. I'm 21 years old. I live with my boyfriend. We've got a very crazy kitten we adopted. I currently have no job because of medical issues. I'm a very family oriented type of person. I'm not in college, still not sure what I want to go to school for. I love to write, hence the blog. I'm very sarcastic, I have a mouth of a sailor sometimes and I'll apologize now for it. I love music, I almost always have music playing everywhere I go. I've gone through a lot since a very young age, so it has made me grow up and be more mature than most people my age would be. I'll get into more detail about that down the road. In these blogs I'm going to be talking about all sorts of different things. From love to heartbreak. From social media to magazines and music and books as well. A more specific topic I will cover is PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which I was officially diagnosed with a little over 3 years ago. But had speculation of it since I was 7. I will also be writing about the society outlook on things. How something need to change or stay the same. If you want an opinion on a certain topic just comment under the blog posts and tell me and I'll do my best to give my opinion or outlook on the situation. Well that's a little bit about me and the upcoming blogs. I hope you come back to read them and let me know what you think. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion on something that I post. It may be messy, and all over the place but it will be authentic and real. I hope you have a wonderful day and hope you enjoy my blog!
